About the teachings:

This famous and concise teaching by the great master Gampopa summarizes the characteristics of the different paths to Buddhahood.. However, in relation to oneself, indicates the evolution that we are experiencing in terms of the objectives to be achieved and the progressively deeper approaches that finally lead us to the experience of the true nature of our being..

Los 4 Dharmas of Gampopa are teachings both for those who are curious to know what the Dharma is about (the path) buddhist, as well as for practitioners who want to deepen the experience of our Buddha nature.

Those four instances that these teachings talk about are:

1. The mind returns to the Dharma.
2. Dharma becomes the path.
3. The path eliminates confusion.
4. Confusion emerges as wisdom.

[The teachings will be accompanied by meditation practices.]

Addressed to:

Every person - student, practicing, professional, seeker the curious, who feels the call to delve deeper or know Buddhist philosophy, not only as an object of intellectual study, but as a living path towards serenity and understanding of life and the dimensions of human experience, beyond the obvious perceptible through our senses and intellect.

This call represents a truly extraordinary opportunity, since the space will be supported by a Master with more than fifty years of dedication to study, practice and dissemination of the Dharma – the buddhist path, and of direct lineage from great Tibetan lamas, in the historic exile of the sixties and seventies. Proof of such closeness is having served as an interpreter for the Dalai Lama himself., for more than 20 years on his trips to Latin America, and also from other Lamas on their trips to Europe and the Americas.

Gerardo possesses the virtue of embodying ancestral lineage while deeply understanding the modern Western mind., combining academic rigor and human warmth, resulting in a kind and valuable bridge between two worlds.

About Gerardo Abboud:

Gerardo is president of the Dongyuling Center of Tibetan Buddhism (https://www.dongyuling.com.ar/), established in Argentina in 1986. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1945. in 1969 He graduated as an industrial engineer from the University of Buenos Aires.. in 1970 traveled to India and Nepal, where he stayed 14 years, studying and practicing Tibetan Buddhism, until 1985. He is a translator from the Tibetan language to Spanish and English., from his days in the Himalayan region and, from 1992, He is the Dalai Lama's interpreter for Latin America and for other Lamas on their trips to the West.. He currently spends his time teaching Buddhist practice and theory at his center and in other study houses in Mexico., Europa, Canada and the USA.
