It is a solidarity program to help the most disadvantaged Tibetans.

in 1959, when he Tibet was violently invaded by the Chinese army, One million two hundred thousand Tibetans were murdered and a large part of the population was forced into exile to save their lives.. Since then, the Tibetan people fight for their survival.

Still today, crossing the Himalayas on foot, the exodus continues.

The Sponsorship program has five objectives:

  1. Sponsorship of boys and girls
  2. Sponsorship of adolescents or young people
  3. Sponsorship of elderly men and women
  4. Sponsorship of monks and nuns
  5. Sponsorship of future Geshes

Contributing to this Sponsorship program of the Casa del Tíbet Foundation is not only carrying out an act of solidarity, It is also help protect an ancient and peaceful culture.

The foundation HOUSE OF TIBET deliver the money received in full and directly to schools (where the child studies), to parents or guardians.

The HOUSE OF TIBET Foundation does not perceive any benefit from helping children and the elderly, The only benefit it aspires to is to offer them the possibility of studying and leading a dignified life..

The Tibetan children and elderly that we have to sponsor live in different parts of India and Nepal, and many of them were born in these countries where their parents, Tibetan refugees, They came crossing the Himalayan mountains. Even today, many are still trying to escape the Chinese regime in Tibet., but very few who achieve it.

The money we receive from the sponsors is used to help them study and obtain studies that allow them, in the future, have more possibilities in your work life. Tibetan children learn their history, they study their language, They learn their traditions along with a Western education that allows them to later pursue higher education at Indian universities.. And so, indirectly, We also help the country to be prosperous and poverty, little by little, is mitigated and everyone can live better.

Helping in this sponsorship project, not only do you do an act of solidarity, but you help protect an ancient and peaceful culture.

The minimum amount necessary to subsidize the basic maintenance and education needs of a child is 30 euros per month. If you are interested in this solidarity task, please indicate your full address, your wishes and we will select the most urgent cases that we have, boy or girl, and we will send you the photograph with the data we have. You can maintain direct contact with them through letters or visit them, closely follow the evolution of your studies, health, family situation, etc.

These are young Tibetans who need to finish their complete school education.. They finish their studies when they have 18 o 19 years and then they can access to study at the University, do Vocational Training or enroll in Higher Education Institutes, depending on your qualifications.

While they are children, the probability of them being sponsored is higher, but, however, when they reach 14 o 15 years it is more difficult to find sponsors to help them cover their expenses. Many remain on the road because parents cannot afford school and travel expenses.. Others, depending on the location of the camp they live in, They must move to other schools far from their home to continue their studies and their maintenance costs must be added to their school expenses..

Many of the schools near the camps only teach courses up to level 8., Then they must enroll in another school, outside the camp usually very far from where they live.

These young people find themselves in a very critical situation since if they do not finish their basic studies they cannot continue with their educational training.. They stay halfway, without the possibility of growing intellectually or achieving a better livelihood. Unfortunately, many of them are forced to stay and live with their parents and work in the fields., or join the Indian army because it provides them with food, home and salary, or emigrate to big cities to work whatever. The most daring will try to emigrate to Europe or America, as long as they get a visa. The amount to help them in their studies is25 euros per month.

Don't forget about them. They need you! Help them achieve their dream, Her future.

Have you ever thought about helping elderly Tibetans?

They are the Tibetans who lived in their beloved Tibet, but when his country was massacred, its monasteries destroyed and its identity trampled, They were forced to flee and cross the Himalayan mountains, most of them in the middle of winter. Some fell by the wayside, Others were luckier and set foot on Indian or Nepalese soil.. During their youth they worked in road construction., they crushed stones (in really severe conditions in the Himalayan mountains) and cultivated the land.

Now, when your strength is already failing, They do not have any help from the government and if anyone receives it, they are so poor that they can barely afford to buy medicine or cover their basic needs..

The minimum quantity is 20 Euros/month. For them, this amount means being able to buy the medicines they need to relieve their pain or for their daily food needs., etc ..

They will be very grateful to you!

Many families are forced to send their children to monasteries or convents so that they can have the opportunity to study and improve their living conditions., as the only hope for the future. Some will delve deeper into Buddhist teachings and others, When they leave the Monastery or Convent they will have an education that will allow them to face life.

We need your help! They are boys and girls like the others, only they have been forced, due to the circumstances of his family (due to death of parents or extreme poverty), to go live in Monasteries or Convents as if it were a boarding school, away from family or friends.

With your contribution of 20 euros per month You contribute to the Monasteries/Convents defraying the expenses incurred during your stay., education, foods, medical service, books for study, etc .

Don't leave them. They need you!
