The Casa del Tíbet Foundation has an exhibition collection that includes paintings, Photographs, Tibetan traditional art (thangkas, ritual clothing and objects, etc.). They are works that show different aspects of the Tibetan people, inside and outside Tibet: cultural, spiritual and human rights. The objective is to make an itinerary of these exhibitions through cultural centers or any space interested in exhibiting them., with the aim of raising awareness of a culture that is at risk of extinction.
The House of Tibet Foundation of Barcelona is dedicated, since its creation in 1994, a promote the exchange and knowledge of cultures as different as the Tibetan and the Western, with the conviction that, as well as enriching, This task is a valuable element of Solidarity with the Tibetan town. The culture of Tibet, that has known how to treasure and preserve in its philosophy a profound knowledge of human nature, It is a world heritage site and, as such, At the Casa del Tíbet Foundation we believe that it should be known and preserved for the benefit all people.

'Devotion', by Julia Hernandez
Julia Hernandez born in Barcelona. She is a photographer from a long tradition of photographers (father and grandparents photographers). “Devotion” is the compilation of a series of images that configure the devotion around one of the oldest active stages of Buddhism. The human figure and the elements necessary to carry out the practices will be the common thread that will take us into this world.. The exhibition is composed of 16 large format photos (100 x 150 cm).
'Two faces of Tibet', de Vijay Kranti
Vijay Kranti presents the result of a work of photographic and journalistic investigation about the contrast betweenThe life of the Tibetan people within Tibet and in exile. Vijay Kranti is a legend among Tibetans and Tibet lovers. During cases For four decades he has focused his camera and heart on Tibet, his people and his beloved leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Vijay Kranti has carried out many photographic expeditions through Kham, Amdo y U-Tsang (in Chinese: Yunnan, Sichuan, Gansu, Qinghai y TAR). In recent years has presented his work on Tibet in the form of a photographic exhibition and “talk show” in India, Austria, Germany, Swiss, Britain, EE. UU. and Canada. For more than three decades he has collaborated with the most important media outlets in India such as la BBC, AAJ Tak TV, Zee News TV, Deutsche Welle and Radio Voice of America. He has published seven books, among them, the book “Dalai Lama – Nobel Peace Prize winner speaks” (“OLD DALAI – the Nobel Peace Laureate – Speaks”). This exhibition consists of 24 Photos (12 of 50 x 70; 5 of 100 x 70; 7 of 150 x 70 cm).
'The Exodus', by Ángel López Soto
Àngel López Soto is a photojournalist. Focuses on current issues, social and environmental complaint. From 1997 make a photographic tracking of the 150.000 Tibetans exiles in the world after the Chinese invasion of Tibet to 1949. He has made around thirty trips to various countries in the Himalayan region where the largest number of refugees are located and where, a Dharamsala (India), was received by Dalai Lama, spiritual and political leader of the Tibetan people with whom he has met again throughout these years. This exhibition consists of 25 Photos framed to 50 x 70 cm y 6 framed photos 35 x 100 cm.
'Memories of the Lost Homeland', del Tibet Museum, de Dharamsala (India).
This is one of the traveling exhibitions of the 'Tibet Museum'. This museum belongs to 'Department of Information and Foreign Relations’ from the Tibetan Government to Exile (Central Tibetan Administration). The terror of Chinese occupation of Tibet forced many Tibetans to flee their homeland. Most of them did so on foot, crossing the Himalayas.. They took few things and many memories from their country.. The exhibition MEMORIES OF THE LOST HOMELAND is based on these memories. Its commissioners are eleven representatives of the Tibetan community in exile. They have narrated their personal stories linked to the history of Tibet, and they have done it with a photographic selection that visualizes your memories. The exhibition takes us on a journey through the darkness of the invasion, destruction and oppression, but it also illustrates Tibet's magnificent past and expresses hope for its future.. This exhibition consists of 40 canvas displays 190,5 x 60 cm.
'Tibet al cor', by Roser Vilallonga
This exhibition was given to the Casa del Tíbet Foundation of Barcelona by the photojournalist for La Vanguardia, Rose Villalonga, with the objective of Raise funds for Tibetan refugee camps in India and Nepal.
