It was founded in 1984 by H.E.. Kalu Rinpoche and settled in 1985 as a center dedicated to the practice and study of Buddhism, also harboring the aspiration (already fulfilled) to become a future retirement center for its students. Located in the Alto Aragonese Pre-Pyrenees (Pannillo – Huesca) and surrounded by beautiful pine forests, the place has been recognized as a particularly suitable site for meditation.
