It is difficult to know what is happening in Tibet. The opacity and lack of information transparency displayed by the Chinese government - a communist regime that is becoming the greatest reference for world capitalism -, on this and other issues, makes it a difficult endeavor. Foreign journalists are prohibited from traveling to the country that extends north of the great Himalayan mountain range because the communist authorities do not want witnesses to what is happening there and have been doing so for more than sixty years., when China militarily occupied back in the year 1950.
