Synopsis
After the Chinese Tibet invasion, consolidated in 1959, The Himalayas mountain range becomes a faithful witness of the exodus of the Tibetan people.
Photographer Ángel López Soto has explored several countries in the Himalayan region for more than two decades., North America and Europe, monitoring the forced exile of the almost 150.000 Tibetans in exile.
Impossible landscapes, monasteries, temples, Buddhist pilgrimage sites, political prisoners, The Dalai Lama and life in exile are the protagonists of the images and texts that make up this exhibition.
TIBET, a threatened culture proposes a trip to Tibet, India and Nepal. A tour in which to discover the most emblematic places in the highest region on the planet, The history and way of life of one of the most threatened peoples in the world.
