this sunday 2 September 2012, Tibetan Democracy Day, The European campaign Flame of Truth has been launched in Barcelona (Flame of Truth), at the same time that it was also done in the United States, Canada, Australia and Africa. A campaign carried out at the initiative of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile with the aim of presenting a letter and signatures of support collected during the tour to the United Nations in New York, as well as in the Human Rights Council of this organization in Geneva and in its Information Center in New Delhi, he 10 December 2012.

At the launch event of this campaign, presented by the director of the Casa del Tibet Foundation, Ven. Thubten Wangchen, CiU senator Josep Maldonado attended, the CiU deputy in Congress Carles Campuzano and the Greek consul in Barcelona, Fernando Turro, in addition to a hundred people who came to show their support.
After the presentation, a caravan cars, motorcycles and bicycles led by the official car took a tour of the most emblematic places of the city, waving Tibetan flags and stopping to collect signatures and take photos.
Hoy, Monday 3 September at 12 noon, the director of the Casa del Tibet Foundation and deputy for Europe in the Tibetan Parliament in Exile, Ven. Thubten Wangchen, will travel with the campaign car from the headquarters of the Casa del Tíbet Foundation to Plaça Sant Jaume to carry out an informative action on the 12:15h.
