DHARAMSALA: While the tragic self-moving of Tibetans continues in the Tibet, Three prominent political parties in South Africa have made statements in Parliament asking the Chinese government to end their repressive policies, Those who are pushing Tibetans catch fire.

G MacKenzie, Member of Parliament by the People's Congress (COPE, by its acronym in English), He presented a motion for the debate on the continuous oppression of the Tibetan people by the Chinese government.

In his statement in Parliament, COPE members urged all political parties to ask the Chinese government to ensure freedom of culture, Religion and expression of Tibetans within Tibet.

They urged the Government of South Africa to compromise Chinese leadership in a substantive dialogue with the Tibetan Central Administration to resolve the Tibet issue, Based on the genuine autonomy memorandum for the Tibetan people. The Government was also urged to include the protection of human rights as item of the agenda in all bilateral and multilateral conversations with China, Without giving in to economic power, Chinese financial and commercial.

The members said that all parties and parliamentarians who love freedom must act against the atrocities of the Chinese government against Tibet's Tibetans.

The Inkhata Freedom Party, In his statement he said: "Armed only with rosaries and sacred scriptures, Tibetan monks face the anger of the strong armed security forces that are mandated to use all the necessary or unnecessary force in order to repress a peaceful and passive resistance of the monks against the illegal Chinese occupation of their country. ”

“Monks are often brutally beaten and regularly detained without cause by Chinese security forces. Human rights abuses perpetrated by China are on such a large scale that it should move the conscience of all humanity. However, Most nations, Even South Africa, They prefer to close their eyes than to run the risk of falling into the economic disapproval of China” It was said.

The deputies of the Democratic Alliance regretted that the world has not acted to end human rights violations in Tibet. “The vision and smell of a human body on fire has become common in Tibet. This is in protest against the oppression of the Chinese government to its culture and religious beliefs. However, We have not positioned ourselves to condemn human rights violations perpetrated in Tibet for China; We continue as if nothing had happened” They said in the camera.

“Knowing our history, Chinese government shares should dismay. We should condemn oppression for any reason because we are intimately familiar with it, And not doing so means that we have no right to speak against any type of violence carried out by a government against its people. ”

“June 16, 1976 saw students protest the use of Afrikaans as the primary language of instruction – in Tibet, students are being forced to learn in Mandarin instead of Tibetan, while teachers are fired from their posts for not enforcing China’s demands.

"He 16 June 1976, We saw students protest the use of Afrikáans as the first instruction language; than Tibet, Students are forced to learn in Mandarin instead of Tibetan, While teachers are fired from their positions for not meeting China's demands.

Self-immolation should not be applauded; however, It is the only alternative method of protest that seems to have left the Tibetans. If we do not talk against China's actions, So we have no credibility in condemning Syria for the murders against their own people” They affirmed.-
