THE VANGUARD: A Buddhist center in Barcelona organizes an exhibition of Buddha relics

Barcelona, 10 nov (EFE).- The Nagarjuna Barcelona center, affiliated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) -main branch of the Buddhist religion, will organize an exhibition of relics of Buddha and others 44 Buddhist teachers at the Casa del Tíbet Foundation (Barcelona) of the 13 al 15 November.

As reported today by the House of Tibet, which hosts the exhibition for the second time, el objetivo de la visita es "compartir las reliquias sagradas para crear encuentros sociales y comunitarios centrados en la bondad amorosa para fomentar la armonía local y global".

La fundación ha afirmado que la colección "cuenta con 3.000 relics" of Buddhist teachers from India, Tibet and China, which include those given by the Dalai Lama, "de más de 2.600 años de antigüedad", the Sakya reliquary (Tibet) and the Meiktila Museum (Burma).
