This was stated to Europa Press in Valencia, asked about the statements of former PP treasurer Luis Bárcenas, who confirmed this Tuesday before the National Court that the former general secretary of the PP of the Valencian Community Ricardo Costa warned him that the PPCV had given instructions to issue false invoices to businessmen so that they would defray the costs of the campaigns for the municipal and regional elections of 2007.
"Por tanto, being a testimony that contrasts and ratifies another previous one, parece que podría ser positivo", has added.
Finally, Baltasar Garzón has insisted that, "en todo caso, It has to be the judge who evaluates" the statements that have been made during the trial for the alleged illegal financing of the PPCV in which it is judged how the party then led by Francisco Camps paid for the events contracted with the company of the Gürtel Orange Market plot.
