Beijing (EFE).- Eleven people died and eight others were injured today when the tourist bus they were traveling in fell off a cliff in the autonomous region of Tibet. (southwest china), reported the official Xinhua agency.
The accident occurred at 9:14 local time (1:14 GMT) in the Gonggar region, southern Tibet region, on the border with Bhutan.
The bus belonged to a Lhasa tour company, the regional capital, local authorities said.
The injured were taken to area hospitals., while police investigate the circumstances of the accident. EFE
