Sydney (Australia), 25 jun (EFE).- The prime minister of the Tibetan Government in exile, Lobsang Sangay, today sought Australia's support for its proposal to seek a peaceful resolution to the growing violence in Tibet.
Sangay addressed this issue and others in a meeting in Melbourne with Bob Brown, former leader and founder of the Australian Green Party, formation that participates in the parliamentary alliance that allows Labor to govern, according to ABC radio.
The Tibetan political leader insisted on the worsening situation in his country and that, that's why, They need the support of an interlocutor who can intercede with Beijing, although he admitted that humanitarian affairs in his country are a delicate issue for Australia due to the important commercial exchange it maintains with China..

The prime minister of the Tibetan Government in exile arrived in Australia over the weekend, and plans to meet and participate in events to support his cause in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney, to conclude the visit next Monday 2 July.
