Video: Medicine Buddha Mantras and Mandalas, at the Tibet House

Nine monks from Sera Jey Monastery, al sud de l'Índia, they are these days in Barcelona to promote Tibetan culture and interreligious dialogue. They are on tour in Europe and will be at Casa del Tibet until Saturday, where they will build a mandala as a sign of peace and harmony.

Their prayers and meditations are for the medicine buddha and they want to help heal people but also, they assure, the society. The aim of the tour is also to organize inter-religious meetings to bring peace and happiness to the world, in addition to raising funds to help the Sera Monastery.

The sand mandala of the Medicine Buddha has its origins in the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha. The monks will start building it this Monday and until Saturday, when they dissolve it. It's vol, in this way, it demonstrates the ephemeral life of all things.
