BANGALORE, India — El Dalai Lama pidió a los jóvenes del mundo entero que creen un "siglo más feliz" this Saturday during the celebration of his 78 birthday, in south india, in the presence of thousands of Tibetans in exile.
"La generación de hoy puede crear mejores condiciones de vida y construir un mundo en el que cada uno puede vivir en armonía y en un espíritu de coexistencia", declared the spiritual leader in exile of the Tibetans.
"Los jóvenes de hoy tienen la oportunidad de crear un siglo más feliz (…) For those of us (born) in the 20th century, no hay nada que podamos hacer", He added to a crowd of 40.000 Tibetan exiles in Bylakuppe, a 250 km from Bangalore, the capital of the state of karnataka.
