📅 Thursday 18 June 2026
🕖 From 19:00 a 20:30 h
📍 Barcelona Tibet House Foundation: C/ Rosselló, 181, Barcelona
💻 In-person and online mode

Marcia Dechen Wangmo is co-founder, together with Erik Pema Kunsang, de Rangjung Yeshe Publications, one of the most important publishers dedicated to the translation and dissemination of Tibetan Buddhist texts. For decades he has worked closely with great teachers of Tibetan Buddhism and currently teaches in different countries sharing a close vision., practical and deeply human Dharma.

In this conversation we will address some fundamental questions to understand the role of the feminine principle in Vajrayana Buddhism.:

✨ What really is the feminine principle?
✨ Is gender relevant in a tradition based on nonduality?
✨ Who have been the great Buddhist teachers and practitioners throughout history?
✨ What is the Buddhist view on sexuality and ethical conduct?
✨ How can we understand femininity and gender identities today from the perspective of Dharma?

We live in a historic moment in which women are recovering their voice and their leadership capacity in all areas of society.. Also within Buddhism there arises the need to reflect on the place of women, the meaning of the feminine principle and the cultural and social challenges that remain present.

This meeting wants to be a learning space, reflection and open dialogue where you can explore the richness of the Vajrayana tradition and its particular vision of feminine wisdom.

A unique opportunity to listen to two women with extensive experience in practice, the study and transmission of Buddhism, and to delve together into an increasingly relevant issue for contemporary Buddhist communities..

We wait.
