Kundeling Rinpoche, thirteenth reincarnation of Kundeling Tatsak; Toni Karam, president and founder of Casa Tibet Mexico; participate in a round table in which, Thubten Wangchen, director of the Casa del Tibet Foundation in Barcelona, will present the program of this XII Tibet Festival and Human Rights Cycle on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the House of Tibet. Lama Toni Karam is president and founder of Casa Tibet México, one of the oldest and most influential pro-Tibet educational and cultural institutions in Latin America. He received a bachelor's degree in Western Philosophy from La Salle University in Mexico City. (title awarded by the SEP) and a bachelor's degree in Buddhist Studies from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, with specialization in Buddhist and Western Psychology. He has completed postgraduate studies in Psychology and Buddhist Philosophy at various universities in the United States., Asia and Europe, including Harvard Universities, Oxford y Heidelberg. He is a member of 21 st Century Trust of England; member of the Steering Committee of the International Network of Tibet Support Groups; member of the International Campaign for Tibet (ICT). as a scholar, Lama Toni Karam has specialized in the study of Tibetan Buddhist tradition and civilization. He has been a translator for His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama, as well as other important scholars and teachers. Talk with the president of the Tibetan Government in Exile, Sikyong Penpa Tsering on the current situation in Tibet

Thubten Wangchen will give a brief summary of the 30 years of existence of the House of Tibet remembering the most important moments throughout these years in the different areas of action: spiritual, cultural, philosophical, artistic and in defense of human rights. Next, Sikyong Penpa Tsering will give a talk on the current situation in Tibet. He was democratically elected president of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) in 2021. Previously he was president of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile for two terms between 2008 and 2016.

Born in Bylakuppe, in the Indian state of Karnataka in 1967, He graduated with honors in economics from the Madras Christian College. He served as executive director of the Political Research Center of the Tibetan Parliament (TPPRC) in Delhi between 2001 and 2008. He was elected as a member of the CTA Parliament for two terms., in between 1996 and 2006. After that, He was elected president of the 14th and 15th Parliament between 2008 and 2016. In July 2016 He was appointed Representative of the Dalai Lama in North America, Representative of the Tibet Office in Washington DC for one year. He took office on 29 August 2016. Penpa Tsering was sworn in as Sikyong on 27 May 2021 in the presence of the Dalai Lama, who attended virtually. Free entry

Lobsang Delek

Young Tibetan singer in exile, charismatic and talented, with his own musical style. Born Tenor Karze, one of the great regions of Dokham Chushi Gangdruk (Four Rivers and Six Mountains) from Tibet. His greatest inspiration for music was transmitted by his parents, especially for his father who is also a fantastic musician. when I was a child, remembers his father's love of music and his performances during family gatherings. Like his father, he has also maintained an interest in music from exile.. Won numerous awards in school and interschool music competitions. In addition to his artistic works, He also worked at the Tibet Cultural Foundation, with its headquarters in New Delhi. He has performed countless concerts in many different states and countries, both in the West and the East.. Namgyal Lhamo

The singer, composer, Actress and performer Namgyal Lhamo is originally from Shigatse, Tibet. Winner of the award for best female singer at the Tibetan Music Awards 2007, Namgyal Lhamo began singing at a very young age and was selected to train at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) en Dharamsala, India. He studied with the most important Tibetan music teachers in Tibet.. This way, delved into the tradition of various types of classical and folk music. His interpretations of “Nangma” and “Toeshe”, 17th century Tibetan classical songs, They are famous among Tibetans all over the world. In addition, Namgyal Lhamo plays different traditional instruments such as the Dranyen (tibetan lute)and the Gyumang (tibetan celesta). Namgyal Lhamo lives in the Netherlands. Techung

Tibetan folk and freedom singer and songwriter, He lives in exile between Dharamsala and Los Angeles. He is known for his music performances, Tibetan traditional dance and opera with the name Tashi Dhondup Sharzur. Use his childhood nickname, Techung, when he performs as a soloist, whether performing in a traditional or contemporary style. Techung's dual objective is to revive Tibetan music in the Tibetan community and expose the rich performing arts tradition of its homeland to the global community.. Techung grew up in Dharamsala, India, where his family and thousands of Tibetans resettled from their native Tibet.

At the age of nine he enrolled in the Tibetan Drama and Dance School., today known as the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TYPE). In his seventeen years of residence at the institute, studied all aspects of Tibetan performing arts (folklore, court and opera) through the oral teaching tradition used by venerable Tibetan elders. He toured with TIPA on his first international tour as a lead child actor in 1975-76 and for many years afterwards. After immigrating to the United States, co-founded the Chaksampa Tibetan Opera and Dance Company, based in San Francisco in 1989. Watch on YouTube:
