The artist

The Catalan painter Pau Nubiola has been involved in a diversity of artistic disciplines.. He’s founding member of the total art group Los Rinos (performance,video, theater, graffiti…) who’s trajectory was shown in MACBA in 2020. 2020. He’s also founding member of the painting perfomances in super format artists collective Gegant (Yokohama, 1991). He has done individual painting exhibitions (Monocromo, Barcelona 2001) and group exhibitions in Barcelona, New York and San Francisco. He acts in the main role in Finisterrae, winner of the Tiger Award at the Rotterdam film festival in 2011. 2011.

In the last few years he has been associated with the Tibet House in Barcelona in different functions, , and is also an artivist in support of the just Tibetan Cause. His painting exhibition Flames in the Silence, portraits of the Tibetan immolations, has been shown in Barcelona, Dharamsala, Ostrava, Potsdam, Zurich, Lugano, Berlin and Paris.
