Chöky Nyima Rinpoche teachings

We are very happy to announce that Chöky Nyima Rinpoché will make a hole in its busy schedule to be able to accompany us at the House of Tibet and give teachings this Saturday 6 September 18-20h.

Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche (The Dharma Sun) Tibet was born in the year 1951, Being the first son of Tulku Uruyen Rinpoche and was recognized as incarnation of the Drikung Kagyu Lama. During the Chinese invasion, even being a child, He emigrated to Sikkim with his family. In his early youth, he enrolled at the School of Young Lamas in Dalhousie, India.

To the 13 Years continued his training at Rumtek , The basis of the Kagyu Tibetan Buddhist School , Where happened 11 years studying the teachings of Karma Kagyu traditions , Drikung Kagyu , the Nykingma . In this place it reached the Khenpo degree . Among his teachers he had the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche Y Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche .

in 1974 He left Rumtek and following the instructions of the Karmapa established a monastery in Boudhanath, Nepal. To the 25 years he appointed him as abbot of the new monastery. In addition, his teacher advised him to focus his effort on instructing Western practitioners.

After perfecting his English, he began offering weekend education workshops to Western travelers. 1980 He traveled through Europe, The United States and Southeast Asia providing their teachings Dzogchen and Mahamudra to numerous people. Rungjug Studies Study for Buddhist Studies. From 1977 Continuous providing their teaching of meditation to Western students and how offering seminars and workshops given in English.

For many years that Rinpoche did not visit us, as we cheer up with them to participate in this precious event.
