Social learning, Ethical and emotional (S.e.e. Learning) and its relationship with Buddhist knowledge

S.e.e. Learning® means social learning, Emotional and ethical. It is an innovative girl education program, children and young people between 6 and 18 Years of the Contemplative and Ethical Sciences Center based on compassion (CCSCBE) From the University of Emory. It provides a universal and science -based approach to bring the ethical development of the child in its entirety to education. S.e.e. Learning expands the field of socio -emotional learning (SEL) based on new developments in educational practice and scientific research. The program has developed under the guidance of its holiness the Dalai Lama.
S.e.e. Learning provides practical tools to understand and manage emotions, Strengthen altruism and resilience, and promote a life based on ethics and connection with others. Unlike traditional Buddhist knowledge, whose goal is lighting, See Learning focuses on the development of personal and social well -being. She further , It provides educators with an integral framework and an attractive curriculum. The program motivates students to participate ethically and compassionately as members of the global community.

S.e.e. Learning is the result of a collaborative team of curriculum writers, Teachers and experts in education, Development and Neuroscience Psychology. It is currently implemented in more than 170 countries, has more than 600 facilitators and more than 60 International affiliates.
In these sessions, Geshe Lobsang Dakpa Presentará El Programa S.E.E.. Learning. The purpose is to extract the Buddhist wisdom about the mind and well -being and present it in a completely secular way, accessible to all people, No need to adopt beliefs such as reincarnation or lighting.

This teaching will explore how to integrate both the S.E.E. Learning. Like Buddhist knowledge, addressing its three fundamental dimensions:
• Buddhist science: Examines the nature of the mind and its functions, including Buddhist psychology, that deepens the origin and influence of emotions, as well as in the methods to manage them and achieve a healthy mental state.
• Buddhist philosophy: Study the different philosophical visions of Buddhist schools, offering perspectives on reality, the interdependence and nature of the self, which allows a deeper understanding of existence.
• Buddhist practice: Includes methods to transform the mind, Like mental training and tantric practices, that develop qualities such as patience, Compassion and wisdom.
This teaching will offer a clear vision of the application of S.E.E. Learning. And Buddhist knowledge in everyday life, allowing to achieve greater well -being and harmony both personal and social.
