CONFERENCE “BEYOND CONSCIOUSNESS” WITH ENRIC CAIROL

Buddhism is based on experience and reason and must, as His Holiness the Dalai Lama tells us, be compatible with science. Thus, Enric in this conference, and also in his books, in addition to being based on the teachings of the great teachers of Buddhism, especially zen, offers parallel insights from modern psychology and physics. Enric Cairol was born in Barcelona. In the years 70 began a cultural approach to Buddhism. At the beginning of the 80 He began his practice within the Soto Zen tradition, being ordained in 1.983. He is a founding member of the Zen Temple of the New Moon “Shingetsuji” in Barcelona..

He is an Industrial Engineer and Psychologist. He began his professional career as a Consultant and, later, He held management positions in multinational industrial companies. He has been a professor of “Applied Psychology”, “Human Development” and “Business Organization and Structure” in Master programs of several Business Schools.

once retired, He has a Diploma in “History of Religions” from the University of Barcelona and has followed various courses in Buddhist history and philosophy.. He has published several books on Buddhism in the Octaedro publishing house.: in 2019 “You are Buddha”, in 2021 “Every day is a good day”, in 2022 “A path to serenity and happiness” and in 2024 “Beyond consciousness”.
