PEACEFUL Rally AGAINST THE CHINESE NATIONAL UNITY LAW
The day 1 July the new Chinese law comes into force, “Law of Progress and Ethnic Unity”, that will be imposed by force, codifying the forced assimilation of Tibetans, Uyghurs and South Mongolians, in addition to other ethnicities. This law will erase their unique cultures, their languages and their identities.
From the Casa del Tibet Foundation and the Tibetan Community we call you to a peaceful rally that will take place in two moments:
Wednesday 1 July at 11am in front of the Consulate of the People's Republic of China (Of. Tibidabo 34)
Wednesday 1 from July to 18:30h in Plaça Sant Jaume
Show your support and solidarity for ethnic rights, cultural diversity, religious freedom and the preservation of minority identities through peaceful and lawful demonstration. Support the Tibetans, Uyghurs and Southern Mongolians. China calls it “Ethnic Union” but it is 'Ethnic Elimination'.
We will not remain silent.
