CELEBRATION OF 91 ANNIVERSARY OF HIS HOLINESS THE DALAI LAMA

On Monday 6 July His Holiness the Dalai Lama will fulfill 91 years. all over the world, thousands of Tibetans and sympathizers pay tribute to him.

The Tibetan Community together with the Casa del Tibet Foundation have prepared a special program for this occasion.

MONDAY 6 FROM JULY AT 11AM: Long Live Ceremony for His Holiness the Dalai Lama led by Geshe Jamphel and offering of khatas. At the end, sweet rice and Tibetan tea will be offered.

SATURDAY 11 FROM JULY AT 6PM: Festive celebration by the Tibetan Community.
The event will begin with a brief Long Live prayer to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and offering of khatas.
After, There will be a presentation of joyful dances and songs from Tibet performed by Tibetans living in Barcelona who, with great enthusiasm, they are preparing them.
We will also have performances of dances and songs from Kalmykia, Nepal and India.
To finish, as usual, we will offer a pica pica with khabses (typical Tibetan pasta), Sweet rice, chai (sweet tea) and soft drinks.
